MODERATOR Role

Are You Meant to Lead a Circle?

Do you have clinical or non-clinical knowledge you feel called to share? A perspective shaped by experience that could help others avoid mistakes or elevate their practice? Do you enjoy guiding meaningful conversations — not lecturing, but facilitating collective learning where everyone contributes? Are you energized by deep, thoughtful dialogue and the opportunity to build genuine friendships with colleagues who value growth as much as you do? And do you want to establish your voice and your practice as a trusted thought leader within a respected professional community?

If so, becoming a Peak Fellowship Circle Moderator may be your next step.

Peak Fellowship Circles are guided by moderators who believe that the best learning happens through honest conversation, shared experience, and mutual respect - not lectures.

Our moderators are not “speakers on a stage.” They are fellow dentists and team leaders who help create a safe space where participants can think deeply, contribute openly, and leave with practical insight.

The Role of a Circle Moderator

Moderators help shape the learning experience and ensure each Circle remains engaging, respectful, and meaningful.

Moderators:

  • Guide the conversation and maintain a structured, focused flow

  • Create a safe, judgment-free environment for sharing experiences

  • Encourage participation and balanced discussion among members

  • Bring real-world perspective to the topic through questions and prompts

  • Help translate ideas into practical takeaways participants can apply immediately

  • Uphold Peak Fellowship values of respect, curiosity, confidentiality, and connection

Moderators are facilitators of dialogue — not lecturers.

Moderators as Culture Stewards

In addition to guiding conversations, Circle moderators play an important role in protecting the spirit and culture of Peak Fellowship.

Moderators serve as thoughtful gatekeepers who help ensure that new participants align with the values of the community. Because Circles depend on trust, openness, and mutual respect, maintaining the right group dynamic is essential.

Moderators help by:

  • Observing how new participants engage within the Circle

  • Noting whether they contribute respectfully and constructively

  • Assessing their openness to sharing, listening, and learning from others

  • Helping identify individuals who would be a strong long-term cultural fit

Moderators help ensure that every Circle remains a place where meaningful relationships can grow and honest conversations can happen.
